Our blood constitute cells and plasma. The cells are red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Over time the red blood cells get worn out and eventually die. The average life cycle of a red blood cell is 120 days. The white blood cells have rather short life cycle, living from a few days to a few weeks. Our bone cell continually producing new blood cells, replenishing our supply.
